Origin

Material provenance

Top-layer cowhide in vegetable-tanned grey. The leather is tanned with traditional Tibetan incense, a practice that dates back centuries. This infusion gives the leather a subtle fragrance and unique character. The leather develops a rich patina, becoming smoother and more lustrous with age - a process called '鍖呮祮' in Chinese.

Technique

Craft process

The multi-bag design allows five different carrying modes: chest bag, shoulder bag, backpack, waist bag, or clutch. Each configuration is achieved through adjustable straps and clever hardware placement. The vegetable-tanning with Tibetan incense is a closely guarded traditional technique. Each bag takes 3-4 days to complete.

Intent

Design logic

The Courage Multi-bag embodies '鍕囩寷绮捐繘' - fierce progress and courage. The versatility of five carrying modes reflects the adaptability needed for modern life. The vegetable-tanned leather with Tibetan incense connects the user to ancient traditions while the functional design serves contemporary needs.
